Spring has officially sprung, and the animals of Springtopia are celebrating with their legendary Giant Art Competition! 🌸🎨
Our colourful animal friends have been busy painting 10 masterpiece eggs, and they’ve hidden them all around town to create a spectacular open-air gallery just for you. They need your help to find every egg and decide who should win the Springtopia Art Prize! Get ready for a vibrant AR adventure to meet the artists, solve their riddles, and see their work burst into life!
The Route: Our Spring safari is one magical journey through your area. Simply follow the trail to find all 10 animal artists and their hidden masterpieces. You can complete the whole trail in one go for a masterpiece of a day out, or dip in and out at your own pace!

How to Play
There are 10 artistic stops to discover on the trail. You can see where all the eggs are hiding on your local map (just choose your location from the menu at the top of this page).
To start your colourful adventure, simply:
- 🗺️ Find the Eggs: Use the map to hunt for the 10 giant painted eggs hidden in windows. You can visit them in any order you like!
- 📱 Scan the Code: When you find an egg, use your phone’s camera to scan its QR code. This will reveal the artist who painted it!
- ✨ Meet the Artist: Tap the button to see the animal artist appear in the real world with augmented reality! (For the best magic, please use Safari on an iPhone or Chrome on an Android phone).
- 🏆 Claim Your Prize: Once you’ve met all 10 artists on the trail, you’ll earn the title “Springtopia Art Critic” and can download your awesome eBook prize!
Test the Augmented Reality on your Device
Before setting off on the trail we advise you to try out the AR functionality of your phone. Most modern smartphones do have this capability now but there are some that still don’t support it. From a smartphone only, click on this link or scan the below QR code to try it out now.
